Overview

After researching, we were unable to locate the building code adoption ordinance.

Teller County, CO adopts the following codes:

  • The International Building Code, 2015 edition, including Appendix Chapters G, H, & I and the Building Safety Journal. Teller County, CO Building Code ARTICLE IV (adopted with amendments).
  • The International Residential Code, 2015 edition, including Appendix Chapters: A, B, C, F, G, H, J, and N. Teller County, CO Building Code ARTICLE III (adopted with amendments).
  • The International Existing Building Code, 2015 edition. Teller County, CO Building Code ARTICLE XV (adopted with amendments).
  • The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1997 edition. Teller County, CO Building Code ARTICLE XVI (adopted).
